A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Chris has been deeply involved in the downtown area revitalization and the District 2 neighborhood for more than 10 years. As a former social worker and small business owner, Chris's daily contact with people has helped her to understand our needs of our community.
Chris was a social worker at Kenosha Human Development Services and with the State of Wisconsin for 10 years before becoming an owner of Franks Diner. Her hard work ethic (and really good cooking) brought national attention to the entire downtown Kenosha area when Franks was featured on The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."
Chris is a member of the Kenosha History Center Board of Directors and a volunteer on numerous downtown area projects. She is also past president of the Kenosha Lakeshore Business Improvement District (BID).
Chris lives with her partner, Lynn Groleau, and their two dogs. She has a degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and now manages Franks Diner.
